The Conservation unit of the Allahabad Museum is fully organized for preventive and curative conservation of all objects and antiquities of the Allahabad Museum. The Conservation Laboratory is headed by Assistant Conservator and assisted by a Conservation Assistant and Multi-Tasking Staff personnel. The Conservation Laboratory is engaged in conserving paintings, textiles, manuscripts and sculptures. Apart from these activities Museum conservation unit organises workshop seminars (conservation) and other activities related to conservation as per need of institution, with technical staff from time to time.
